XADO Fuel Pump Treatment

 Note: For XADO to work the surfaces must be metal to metal contact as in diesel fuel injection pumps or the older Alfa Romeo and Porsche gasoline mechanical injection pumps. Some modern tank and in line fuel pumps have plastic or fibre componants. Remember the surfaces must be metal for XADO to revitalize.

Instructions on compound application
  1. Apply to the fuel tank before filling. 
  2. Additional (optional) filtering devices may decrease revitalization efficiency.
  3. Protective coating is formed on any functioning mechanism. As with all XADO products if your mechanical part is worn beyond repair it will need to be replaced.

    Treatment procedure
  1. Squeeze out the contents of 1 tube into the fuel tank which contains a minimum of fuel.
  2. Fill into the tank 10 to 15 gallons of fuel.
  3. Run the vehicle as normal.
  4. Revitalization is considered complete after 100 hours of mechanism work (approximately 1,865 miles (3,000 km) run).

For diesel engines of heavy haulers and for other diesel engines of big capacity the dosage of XADO revitalizant gel for high-pressure fuel pump is calculated according to the chart.

Note !

  1. The characteristic feature of the beginning of revitalization is an improvement of mechanism operation (decreasing of noise, vibration, exhaust opacity) just from the first miles of run.
  2. It is recommended to double the dose if the wear is very heavy.
  3. If after 60 -120 miles (100-200 km) run the mechanism fails to improve its performance then the most probable cause is the pump is worn beyond the repair capabilities of XADO.
